Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki renewed his demand for the international community to take urgent action to stop the Israeli Judaic plans, stressing that annexing more Palestinian lands in the West Bank undermines any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.
Al-Maliki said in a statement today carried by the Wafa Agency that the occupation authorities' announcement of their intention to annex parts of the West Bank is a serious crime added to the occupation crimes against the Palestinians and the seizure of their lands, stressing that the international community's sufficiency in issuing statements of condemnation against the Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian people is unacceptable.
Al-Maliki called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and implement the international legitimacy resolutions and the Geneva Conventions, foremost of which is Security Council Resolution 2334, which demands the occupation to immediately halt all settlement operations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
