Together, the couple decided to bring the ball of fur to the Weilheim animal clinic after consultation . "It goes without saying. You can't leave them to themselves. ”It later turned out that the animal had suffered a severe thigh fracture in the hind leg and a traumatic brain injury when it collided with a vehicle .

Only about 200 meters as the crow flies from the scene of the accident, Sárka and Michael Wagner worried about their little tiger , who had not come back from his foray. "We found our July last year as a baby cat in Hungary," says the 52-year-old.
"Her mother had probably left her because she was sick." The couple didn't hesitate for a second , but did everything possible to take the new family member with them. "There was no problem with the dog either," says Sárka Wagner. "On the contrary - they get on really well."

Albrecht, in turn, couldn't get the experience out of his head . He turned to the home newspaper, told what had happened and sent two pictures that were published on our newspaper's Facebook page . "I thought that maybe we could find the owner like this." Within a very short time, the call was shared 300 times . "And suddenly my neighbor was at the door," Wagner reports. "He knew July was gone and recognized her in the photo."
The rest is told quickly: Wagners drove to Weilheim. "What were we happy to see them alive," says Sárka Wagner. They immediately agreed to an expensive but necessary operation. “July belongs to the family. That's not a question. ”A guinea pig stable was also worried.

“After the operation, she mustn't be walking around. But at least that's how we can take them out. ”July seems to accept this solution well . She eats, uses the litter box, plays a little with her sisal mouse and watches what "her" family is doing.
When Albrecht comes to visit the little patient, she lifts her head and sniffs her finger with delight . "I would say she recognizes you," Sárka Wagner is certain. And: “We cannot thank you enough. How nice that there are still such people. "
