First message from March 11, 2020: Munich / Baltimore (USA) - A team of geographers and data scientists from Germany has now developed a dashboard with a map that shows the spread of the corona virus for Germany in virtually real time .
The individual federal states are shown in different shades of blue: the darker the blue, the more cases there are. In addition, the dashboard shows the number of confirmed infections and the death rate , which is currently less than 1.2% (as of April 21, 2020).
Furthermore, the federal states are listed according to the number of current infections . For each federal state, the dashboard also provides the number of residents, which is compared to current Corona cases .
