Starnberg - The rules of procedure of the district council or the assignment of supervisory board posts are moderately exciting for ordinary district citizens. Anyone who becomes vice deputy is more interested. In the run-up to the constituent district meeting on Thursday (8.30 a.m., Schlossberghalle Starnberg) there are some assumptions about the personnel - but only a sure candidate.

Only on Monday had the last major political groups been constituted with the FDP and free voters and elected their group leaders. At the FDP it is Willi Boneberger (Gilching). Albert Luppart (Pöcking) leads the group among the free voters. The CSU had confirmed Harald Schwab (Gilching) at the end of last week, as before, with the SPD it is still Tim Weidner (Starnberg). For the Greens it is Martina Neubauer (Starnberg) and Bernd Pfitzner (Tutzing).

The appointment of the group leaders does not necessarily say anything about the appointment of the deputy district administrator, who also represents Stefan Frey in the district office, and the other deputy. There may be more deputies, but also several - so far, in addition to the actual vice, one was Tim Weidner, who was also the SPD parliamentary leader. He does not believe that he will again hold a deputy post - because the SPD has shrunk and the constellations are probably different. What is meant are assumptions, CSU and free voters will cooperate, possibly with the FDP.

Stefan Frey (CSU) did not want to comment on preferred candidates for the deputy before the meeting. He spoke to all the other groups, thematically, less personally. The district administrator has always made it clear that he also wants content-related agreement on this issue. Frey does not want "inflation in deputies", after all, it is not about posts alone. Background: In addition to the official deputy, other circles have several others, for example one from each larger faction. Frey doesn't want three or four more. So far, two or more district councils have been considered a parliamentary group; it remains to be seen whether this will remain the case.

Martina Neubauer is a candidate for the vice position that Georg Scheitz (CSU) held in the previous parliamentary term. The green district candidate wants to run, also because this represents the election result, as she says. The Greens were able to increase the number of their district councilors from ten to 18 in the middle of March and were the only faction to win. The CSU, Free Voters, FDP and SPD had lost seats. There were no discussions about specific content with the CSU and the district administrator, she says, "although we did offer".

The CSU and Free Voters hushed up before the alliance and vice-election session. But the fact is that free voters and FDP supported Frey before the runoff; the SPD had made no recommendation because it internally disagreed who to support. Matthias Vilsmayer, a candidate for the district electorate, is traded as a candidate for the deputy, who, on request, merely stated that talks were in progress. The election of the deputy councilor is secret, the other deputies are appointed - by majority vote.

The FDP, its district chairwoman and district councilor Britta Hundesrügge said on request, wanted to stay out of it. It has other goals: Because of the smaller fraction, the FDP would lose seats on supervisory bodies, particularly at the Starnberg clinics. That is why the Liberals want to enlarge the body so that they can continue to have their say. "This is very important to us," says Hundesrügge. She too was reluctant to make alliances.
