On March 14, 2020, Martin Fourcade, won the last gold medal in his biathlete career in Kontiolahti, Finland. The day before, he announced that he was retiring from sport. His prestigious record, one of the best in his discipline, arouses respect and admiration in France and abroad.
It was in 2010, at the Vancouver Olympics that his career took off. At 22, he surprised by winning the silver medal of the mass start (group start). It was the start of an impressive climb.
