Germering  - At around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, a 34-year-old woman from Germering contacted the police because she could no longer find her brother. The 32-year-old is mentally handicapped, cannot speak and one could assume that he was wandering around disoriented. However, it could also not be ruled out that he had reached one of the two Germeringer S-Bahn stations and got on an S-Bahn.

A large missing person search was started in Germering around 8 p.m.

The police first looked around the 32-year-old's workplace. But he was also not to be found in the handicapped workshop in Maisach. At around 8 p.m., a large-scale search for missing persons was started in Germering with the support of a closed unit from Fürstenfeldbruck (OED). First, an extensive underground car park was searched at the missing person's home address.

After the search in the underground car park of the town hall was also negative, it was suspected that the missing person might have got on a bus. Shortly after 11 p.m., a call from her Franconian colleague from Fürth came to PI Germering with the joyful announcement that the missing person at the “Harthöhe” subway station could be picked up unharmed by a patrol. The colleagues of the Fürth Police Inspection took care of the return transport of the missing person in consultation with the sister. How he got to Fürth, however, will probably remain his secret.
