A earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred in the Sea of Okhotsk near the Kuril Islands, according to Sakhalin Branch of the Unified Geophysical Survey of the Russian Academy of Sciences without announcing the threat of tsunami after the earthquake.
