The Agricultural Cooperative Bank branch in Hasaka announced that the bank’s branches in the governorate are ready to exchange the values of the wheat crop that will be delivered to the Syrian Grain Branch during the current season.
In a statement to a Sana correspondent between the branch manager Khidr Al-Hasso, all the bank’s 17 branches in the governorate are operating and ready to receive and dispense invoices within a period not exceeding 48 hours after receiving the invoice from the Syrian Grain Branch, where all necessary measures have been taken to facilitate the exchange of wheat values.
Al-Hasso indicated that the bills exchange operations during the previous seasons, especially the last crop of 2019, were carried out within easy procedures in light of the availability of financial credits and not delaying the sending of bills from the Syrian Grain Branch.
For his part, the director of the Syrian Grain Branch, Eng. Obaida Ali, said that the financial allocations for the disbursement of wheat values for the current agricultural season are 450 billion Syrian pounds, of which there are currently 150 billion Syrian pounds and will be present in the account of the branches of the Agricultural Bank with the launch of marketing operations to ensure that the exchange of the values of marketed wheat is not delayed. .
Ubaidah affirmed that the Foundation’s branch continued marketing the wheat crop from last season’s production at the Grims and Livestock Centers, and the marketed quantities to date reached 1700 tons, and it is scheduled to continue until the beginning of next month.
The total value of grain disbursed from the branches of agricultural banks in the governorate during the past 2019 season reached 98 billion Syrian pounds.
