Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki reaffirmed that the continuous plans of the Israeli occupation authorities to annex Palestinian lands to the usurping entity are miserable attempts to sustain the catastrophe and occupation on Palestinian land.
In a statement on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Nakba, which falls on Friday, May 15th, reported by Wafa Agency, Al-Maliki indicated that what encouraged the occupation to continue its crimes for 72 years is the absence of accountability and international will in its punishment, stressing that the steadfast Palestinian people and their leadership will face the crimes and plans of the occupation occupation By all available means in the international institutions concerned with criminal justice, to end the era of impunity.
Al-Maliki called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to end the effects of the catastrophe, support the struggle of the Palestinian people and realize their inalienable rights, especially the right of return, in accordance with Resolution 194, the right to self-determination and the embodiment of the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
