Prohibited handshakes, shopping carts without bags

Handshakes and braces at the end of the course are prohibited. Players and caddies will also need to be at a greater distance than usual. Players will take care of their clubs and their bags instead of shopping carts, will be accommodated in a specific hotel and will be accompanied by their coach, not their family. Only the personnel necessary for the organization of these tournaments and their televised broadcast will be present on the course. The PGA Tour will also charter charter flights between each tournament. In addition to these social distancing procedures, a comprehensive plan of tests and controls will be implemented. It is planned to test 400 people per week on average on a tournament. The Charles Schwab Challenge will be played behind closed doors, as will the next three tournaments on the calendar revised due to the pandemic, the Heritage Classic (June 18-21), the Travelers Championship (June 25-28) and the Rocket Mortgage Classic ( July 2-5).
