The Ministry of the Interior announced the arrest of five people in Damascus countryside who professed to forge government and personal documents in a highly professional manner.

The ministry explained that a delegate was sent to him by the branch officers to extract a flag service notebook and provide him with a personal photo and a copy of the ID card, and the delegate and the counterfeit agreed to extract the notebook in exchange for a sum of money and an appointment was received to receive the notebook and after several days the counterfeit contacted the delegate and asked him to come to his home to receive the notebook A patrol was formed from the branch, entering the house, arresting him, and by searching his home, a laser printer was found used to print forged documents, a laptop computer, date seals to print blue and red, and complete forging tools.
The ministry indicated that the arrested person was brought with the seizures to the Criminal Security Branch in Damascus countryside, and on investigation, he confessed to his forgery with the participation of four people who were arrested, indicating that investigations are still ongoing with them and they will be brought to the relevant jurisdiction.
