Ten days after the deconfinement, which began on May 4, the Italian health situation seems under control. No acceleration of contagion is to date observable in the epidemiological data of Covid-19, and the contagion rate remained at 0.7. On Thursday, Italy registered 992 new cases for 41,141 people tested, representing a contagion rate of only 2.4%. A new day with less than 1,000 cases, while the country performs nearly 70,000 tests per day. Intensive care beds are emptying (855, Thursday), and deaths are trending downward (262, Thursday). It is not yet at "zero new cases"which will sign the end of the epidemic, but each day confirms the acceleration of the recession. And this, in all regions of Italy, even if in the north, Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy still record daily growth of 5% to 7% of cases.
