In November last year, a fierce conflict broke out at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The police arrested 13 men and 2 women, aged between 16 and 61, including 8 men and 2 women. Five men continued to be released on bail. The police said that after further investigation and legal advice, today (14th), a total of 7 men and 2 women were arrested in all districts of Hong Kong. Together with the 5 men on bail, the police temporarily prosecuted the 14 persons aged between 18 and 60 Of the men and women, one "involved in a riot" crime, four of them were charged with the crime of "possession of tools for illegal purposes" and one was charged with "possession of offensive weapons in public places". The case will appear in the Eastern Magistrates' Court on the morning of May 18. The police allege that the arrest is still in progress.
