Kühlungsborn, the largest seaside resort on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast, offers a six-kilometer-long and in some places up to 50 meters wide sandy beach. Dogs are allowed in three sections. Practical: The park-like city forest and the forests in the surrounding area offer plenty of space for additional exercise after a long bath in the Baltic Sea.

The North Sea island of Sylt is particularly dog-friendly. Sea surf, beach and mudflats offer a great change from a walk through forest and meadows.
