US Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr announced his resignation amid an investigation by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about his stock sales in the first weeks of the Corona pandemic.
Reuters reported that the Bohr Commission was receiving daily briefings on the risk of the Corona pandemic before it sold its shares.
Bohr sold $ 1.7 million worth of shares on February 13, a few days after he delivered reassuring statements that President Donald Trump's administration was ready to deal with the outbreak.
