Turkish "Good Party" leader Maral Akshanar affirmed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had destroyed democracy and destroyed the economy in Turkey after he controlled all state institutions.
Akshanar said in a television interview today that "Erdogan will be eliminated in the first presidential elections after all surveys have proven that the Turkish people will not vote for him anymore."
Akshanar referred to "Erdogan's mistakes in terms of internal and external policies, especially in Syria," noting that Erdogan eliminated the independence of the judiciary and pursued all of his opponents, journalists, intellectuals and politicians.

The aggressive policies of the Erdogan regime and the deteriorating political and security conditions caused by the regime's repressive practices under the pretext of the coup attempt in mid-July 2016 caused economic repercussions on the country, including a decline in tourism and investments and a decrease in foreign exchange revenues in the form of reducing the confidence of foreign investors in the Turkish economy.
