After a dramatic incident in Munich, the police are looking for witnesses. Apparently a woman had plunged into the water with her three-month-old daughter.
Munich - On Thursday afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., a witness called police emergency number 110 and said that he had just pulled a woman and a child from the large city stream (part of the Isar). According to him, the two people were lying in a side arm of the stream in about 50 centimeters deep water.

The caller and other passers-by immediately started taking first aid measures. Several patrols from the Munich police, fire service and emergency services were sent to the specified location. The police officers who arrived first took over the rescue measures. The ambulance brought the wife and child to Munich hospitals for further treatment.
Initial police investigations indicate that the woman (a 37-year-old from Munich) and her three-month-old daughter, whom she had strapped to her belly in a baby carrier, fell into the brook. Further investigations to clarify the incident were initiated.
