The construction work of the first biological digestion project of its kind carried out at the level of Syria, which was implemented by the Hibiscus Mabqara facility, aimed at extracting biogas from processing the waste from the mabqara and benefiting from the remaining section as organic fertilizer for agricultural lands, has been completed.

In a statement to SANA, Dr. Mohamed Al-Daher, director of the initiative, indicated that the project was finally received and workers are currently being optimally trained in labor and production management in cooperation with the Energy Directorate in the Ministry of Agriculture, with work to start during the coming period.

And Al-Daher indicated that the project was implemented by one of the private companies, which is the first of its kind at the level of Syria, and its total cost reached 128 million pounds. Farmland.

Al-Daher explained that the area of ​​the cows reaches 1300 dunums, including 520 heads of cows, of which 285 are dairy cows, while the daily production of milk is about five tons, most of which is sold to the Homs Dairy Company. And the release of water in it, which contributes to the production of green fodder constantly, which reduces labor costs and costs.
