(CNN Spanish) - The state of Florida is a territory without a political owner. Sometimes vote for Republicans and other times for Democrats.

Hispanics make up a remarkable percentage of voters. Cubans were the majority group, but perhaps Puerto Ricans have surpassed them. Cubans, roughly speaking, are Republicans. Puerto Ricans are usually Democrats.

Joe Biden, the virtual Democratic presidential candidate, is a centrist. In the United States this is also called the Third Way. One of the reasons he was chosen as “vice” was to balance the supposed weight of Obama's “leftism”.
