Quneitra Governorate, in cooperation with a number of service directorates, implemented campaigns to cleanliness, deport the rubble, and remove random dumpsites in the displaced communities in Damascus countryside, as part of the precautionary measures to address the Corona virus.

The deputy head of the executive office in the governorate, Hussein Ishaq, told a SANA reporter that these campaigns aim to help administrative units to improve basic services in the Quneitra Sons community in Damascus countryside.

The Director of Solid Waste Department, Abdul-Ghani Jaafar, explained that the hygiene campaigns and the removal of debris and landfills included neighborhoods and main and subsidiary streets in the Thiabiyya, Husayniyah, al-Sabina, and Hajira compounds, in cooperation with the municipalities, in addition to implementing a sterilization campaign for public facilities that included government departments, streets, schools, places of worship, and distribution of masks and paws for cleaners in addition To distribute awareness leaflets to citizens to introduce the Corona pandemic to raise awareness about ways to tackle the virus.
