Don't complain, but get involved - the new CSU City Councilor Franziska Hotter is already doing this with her honorary posts.
Germering - The 36-year-old leads a play group with a friend in the workers' welfare, is the parent advisory board in the St. Nikolaus kindergarten and is an assessor on the CSU local board. She has been a member of the party for around 15 years - "only passively until 2018", as she confesses.
It is already clear in which areas Hotter wants to get involved as a mother of a four-year-old daughter and a one-and-a-half-year-old son in the parliamentary group and Germeringer city council: "Families with children, I would particularly like to get involved in childcare."
Hotter knows how it works in a city administration from her everyday professional life. She is a qualified lawyer in the state capital of Munich.
However, the home of the 36-year-old, whose family life still includes husband and dog, is in Marktredwitz in Upper Palatinate. She has only been living in Germering since August 2017. “That's why I was surprised that it worked so quickly with the city council. But it made me all the more happy. ”
For Hotter, good mood also spreads when playing the piano and reading. She also finds relaxation "in my garden". For them, too, tackle instead of whining. Every effort is worthwhile for a good home and a livable germering. hk
