Potsdam - Former GZSZ actress and mother Isabell Horn described an absolute moment of horror on Instagram that no parent would want. It was about her baby Fritz , born in 2019 , who was about to suffocate. Now she draws her lesson from her terrible experience and announced a decisive step.

Before I became a mom, I didn't know what it meant to love unconditionally. I knew nothing of all the fears and worries that we as parents deal with every day. We want to protect our little treasures from all dangers and suddenly it happens. Our small, perfect world starts to falter from one second to the next. In my story I told you about the tragic event. Fritz choked and couldn't get the foreign body out alone. It turned blue and I completely panicked. Fortunately, Jens came home at the right time and instinctively did the right thing. Although in the end thank God everything went well, I reproach myself. Why didn't I see it coming ?! Why was I paralyzed and suddenly didn't know what to do ?! I have nightmares and the scenes of the tragic incident happen again and again in my head like a dramatic film. It will take a while until I have processed what I have experienced, but now I know how important it is to be prepared for such situations. I never want to feel so helpless again and will attend a first aid course. Thank you for your loving sympathy! You are wonderful !! ❤️

Her son Fritz suddenly "choked and could not get the foreign body out by himself", the ten-month-old boy choked on a sticker. He was then "tarnished blue", she was "completely panicked". Fortunately , her husband Jens Ackermann came home in time and "instinctively did the right thing". "The scenes of the tragic incident take place in my head again and again like a dramatic film," the former GZSZ actress describes the fear of death about her baby. Digestion of this will "take a while." But the actress wants to learn a positive lesson from the shock and has now announced that she will take a first aid course so that she "never feels so helpless again".
