Oberding - In addition to changes in the budget, in which the municipality now expects drastic trade tax losses due to the corona pandemic (we reported), the Oberdingen municipal council also advised on various building applications. One caused astonishment on the panel.

It is planned to build a house with two residential units and garages at the Brunnmühle in Notzing. The building application itself was unproblematic, the proof of the parking space was fulfilled, the necessary neighboring signatures were available, and there were no other defects. The catch: "In our opinion, the property is outside," Mayor Bernhard Mücke explained to the committee. However, the district office sees it differently: it is an interior area and is therefore a matter for the municipal council.

Indoor or outdoor?

"How does the district office get it?" Asked the municipal councilor Georg Ascher. But Mücke did not have an explanation for this either: “We explicitly asked why this is considered to be an interior area at the district office. According to our interpretation of the Bavarian building code, the outside area is. We also asked whether something had changed in the building regulations. ”However, there was no explanatory answer.

Wolfgang Hirner noted: "If the district office gives its okay, construction is allowed anyway." Therefore, he would reject the application. Most of the committee members agreed with this opinion. Only three councilors accepted the proposed resolution, 18 voted against.

More financial opportunities for the mayor

All other building applications were accepted unanimously. These included renovation work on the interior of the Stilbe Property company in Schwaig, the construction of a pool in Schwaig, a structure for the conversion and expansion of a single-family house in Schwaig, the construction of a five-family house with four guest rooms in Notzing, and the construction of a new agricultural multipurpose hall in Oberding.

The municipal rules of procedure were also adapted at the meeting. The mayor's budget was expanded. In the future, Mücke will dispose of over 10,000 euros in the event of unscheduled expenditure, up to now it was 6,500 euros. The amount for unscheduled expenses also increases from 3,250 to 6,500 euros. The changes resulted from a proposal by Hirner at the inaugural meeting in early May. Local councilor Georg Maier wanted to know before the vote whether this change was necessary. Mücke said: “I can get by with the old amounts. If that shouldn't be enough, I can have the municipal council voted in individual cases. I'll leave it up to you. ”The adjustment was then decided unanimously.

Finally, Mücke informed the committee about the construction work on the ED 9 district between Niederding and FTO (detailed report to follow).
