The Libyan army announced today the shooting down of one of the Turkish regime's planes marching in the vicinity of Souk El Khamis, south of the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
The Libyan army said in a statement published by its military media network on social media, that the air defense platforms of the Libyan armed forces targeted a Turkish plane, a Phoenix, and it was shot down at the Al-Wattia air base.
The Libyan army has shot down many Turkish planes during the past weeks.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime is proceeding with its plans to devote its intervention in Libya by sending troops to it, as part of its ambitions to plunder the wealth of this country and expand its influence in the region.
