Thousands of Germans participated in demonstrations across the country today to protest against government restrictions to contain the Corona virus.
Reuters reported that the protesters took to the streets in several locations in the capital Berlin and the surrounding state of Brandenburg, while police expected about 5,000 demonstrations in the city of Stuttgart, and organizers asked the city authorities of Munich permission to organize a protest involving more than ten thousand people.
Germany recorded fewer deaths than most of its neighbors, and the government has already eased some restrictions.
The data of the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases in Germany today showed that the number of confirmed cases of the virus increased 620 cases to 173,772 and the number of deaths increased 57 cases to 7881.
