US President Donald Trump yesterday presented a brief press conference in the oval chamber of the new Space Force flag and uniform, the first new corps flag in 73 years.

The President received the new Space Force flag in the Oval Room, announcing that the flag would be displayed in the White House. "Space is going to be the future, both in defense and in attack," he explained. "We're now the leaders in space." He said that the US is currently working on producing "amazing military equipment, at a level no one has ever seen."

Trump chose to mark the occasion with a shocking reveal that his country is now developing a new sample missile designed to compete with and surpass the new fifty held by China and Russia. "We had to do that," the president said, referring to the development of the new missile, "given what our opponents hold. You've heard that Russia is working six times faster than we have and China is working five times faster," the president said.

"Now we will have what I call a super duper missile. I heard it would be 17 times faster than anything another country currently has," the president said in reference to the missile being developed by the United States. Secretary of Defense Mark Asper confirmed the president's remarks.

White House spokeswoman Kylie McCannney declined to reveal more details about the missile Trump was talking about. After the White House referred reporters to the Department of Defense, Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman vaguely agreed that the president's remarks were not detached from reality. "The Department of Defense is working on developing a series of sonic missiles to face our opponents," Hoffman tweeted in his Twitter account.

According to the Bloomberg newspaper, Russian President Vladimir Putin in December announced that a cruise missile developer would land a voice capable of carrying a nuclear warhead flying five times faster than the speed of sound. "The new missile will fly like a meteor, like a fireball," the Russian president said.
