Organizers of the Jerusalem Dance Day traditional march petitioned the High Court demanding that they be allowed to hold the event.

In these talks, it was agreed to cancel the huge march from the Protest of Independence to the Western Wall, where thousands of young people from religious Zionism participate each year. Instead, it was agreed that four car convoys would travel from different neighborhoods in the city to Independence Park. Then, according to the plan, about 2,000 flags will be deployed along the walls of the Old City, wearing masks and two feet away.

The matter was conveyed by the police to the National Security Staff (NSC) who decided to cancel the march altogether.

"We meet all the requirements of the Ministry of Health, so there is no reason to prevent the event from happening," says Meir Indore, one of the organizers of dance flags.

"The Attorney General has set clear rules for conducting demonstrations, and we abide by those rules. The High Court has previously ruled that Rico DeGdales is a demonstration in which we express our love for Jerusalem. There is no reason not to allow us to have this demonstration. There is no reason to allow the left to hold its demonstrations and not let us hold our demonstration. "
