The coronavirus epidemic has caused the death of 145 people in Italy in the last 24 hours, the lowest daily toll since the start of confinement on March 9, announced Italian Civil Protection on Sunday.
In addition, most businesses and businesses in the country will reopen on Monday, including restaurants, bars and cafes, hairdressers and retail stores. Gyms, swimming pools, cinemas and theaters will be allowed to open on May 25.

Authorities warned that the virus was still circulating and called for compliance with social distancing guidelines. If infection levels start to rise, the government has declared that it reserves the right to impose further restrictions.
On March 27, Italy recorded the highest number of deaths from the virus in a day, with 969 deaths.
