More than 28,000 people have died in connection with the Covid-19 in France since March 1, including 483 in the last 24 hours, according to the report released Sunday evening by the Ministry of Health.

The increase is the most significant in recent weeks and is mainly due to deaths in nursing homes and other medico-social establishments (+429 compared to Saturday, against +54 in hospital). On the other hand, hospitalizations and admissions to intensive care continue to decline.
