Curious: She had proposed Neuching's City Hall chief Thomas Bartl (CSU), who had also been on the ballot paper. Bartl's name on the ballot was purely pro forma. "You already have six years of experience and also had a good cooperation with my predecessor Hans Peis," said Bartl when he suggested Schley and thus also voted against himself. "That pleases me very much. There is also no written regulation as to whether the chairperson comes from Ottenhofen or Neuching. But it is a task that also takes a lot of time, ”replied Schley, who has been known to be the full-time mayor since this legislative period.
400 euros per month as compensation
Dieter Heckel (FWO, Ottenhofen), administrative director Andrea Knauer and Otto Hainz (SPD, Neuching) acted as election officers.
Schley then returned the favor by proposing Bartl as her deputy. "But it could also do any other VG member," she said. But this election was equally clear: Bartl was unanimously elected as the second chairman of the VG.
For her work as head of the administrative community, Schley includes monthly compensation of 400 euros. So far it was 290 euros. Bartl gets 250 euros (previously 144 euros). "We don't want to set our salary ourselves," Schley said with a smile and opened the discussion.
Hainz started and raised 400 euros for Schley and first 200 euros for Bartl. "Is there a proposal from the Bavarian Community Day?" Asked Beatrix Ertl (CSU, Neuching). "No," said Knauer, "there are no recommendations. It is voluntary compensation ”. The result then fell unanimously to 400/250 euros.
The VG councilors themselves receive 35 euros for each meeting. This raised the flat rate by five euros.
Credit limit increased to EUR 12,000
Since the VG is switching to electronic charging, invitations or other documents will have to be printed out in the future. While Ottenhofen has not yet voted on its own attendance fee, 35 euros are already fixed for community council meetings in Neuching. "I suggest 35 euros. Then we will approach Neuching, ”said Ottenhofen’s VG Council Sebastian Weber (CSU). This was decided unanimously.
The hourly rate for compensation or loss of earnings for the self-employed is now 20 euros per full hour. "But nobody ever asked for that," Schley informed the councilors.
The chairperson's availability for the VG was set at EUR 12,000 (previously EUR 7,000). Bartl, as mayor of Neuchingen, also has this freedom of action. In Ottenhofen, Schley can approve up to 10,000 euros. "Everything is already determined through the budget," clarified Schley.
The Audit Committee ensures that everything is in order. Heckel took over the chair for the first three years of the parliamentary term. Other members are Markus Lanzl (FWG, Neuching) and Otto Hainz. After three years, Hainz becomes the boss, supported by Ertl and Weber.
