The head of the Syrian-Cuban Friendship Committee Ayman Melandi pointed out during the meeting with the Cuban ambassador in the People's Assembly to the deep and deep historical ties between Cuba and Syria, stressing the importance of the joint struggle between the two countries in facing the forces of imperialism and hegemony represented by the United States of America that is trying to control every independent country.
The Cuban ambassador in Damascus stressed that Cuba will remain alongside Syria, especially in light of the current circumstances, condemning the United States to exploit the Corona pandemic to increase its aggressive policies against countries with independent decisions, especially Syria, Cuba and Venezuela.
