A young 20-year-old was shot to death on Lilienblum Street in Kiryat Ata. After initial treatment from the Magen David Adom team at the site of the incident, he was rushed to critical condition for treatment at Rambam Hospital where his death was determined. 

MDA senior medic Hai Suissa, who arrived at the scene, said: "When we arrived on the scene we saw a young man about 20 lying unconscious with injuries to his body. .

It was apparently an attempt to eliminate by motorcycle, when the shooter fled the scene. The victim was known to police but had not been in jail or previously convicted.
