An event in Moscow on the occasion of the International Day of Jerusalem

An event was held in the Russian capital, Moscow, on the occasion of World Jerusalem Day, organized by the RIA Novosti agency via video conferencing technology.

Words held during the event confirmed the rejection of the expansionary Judaization measures carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the city and the decisions of US President Donald Trump, biased towards the Israeli occupation entity.

The Palestinian Ambassador in Moscow Abdel Hafiz Nofal explained that the announcement of the International Day of Jerusalem constitutes an "important support" for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian resistance movement in confronting the brutality of the Zionist entity and its expansion plans in the Palestinian land and exposing the American plans towards Jerusalem, especially the "deal of the century" plot.

Nawfal indicated that all the actions of the Israeli enemy in the occupied city of Jerusalem aim to Judaize the city and strip it of its Islamic and Arab character.

Syrian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dr. Riyad Haddad renewed, during the event, Syria's support and solidarity with the Palestinian people in restoring their usurped rights, foremost of which is Jerusalem.

In another context, Haddad renewed the assertion of Syria's right to defend its sovereignty and liberate its lands from terrorism and from all foreign alien military forces occupied its lands.

In turn, the Iranian ambassador to the Russian Federation, Kazem Jalali, affirmed the failure of all attempts by the United States and the Zionist entity to liquidate the Palestinian issue.

Jalali said that the Zionist entity is based on the foundations of aggression, killing and crime, and this is what its behavior indicates in exploiting the world's preoccupation with the epidemic situation of the Corona pandemic by expanding its settlements, escalating its repression, persecuting the Palestinians and destroying their villages.

The International Day of Jerusalem will be revived on the last Friday of Ramadan throughout the world in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in rejection of the attempts to Judaize the holy city practiced by the Israeli occupation authorities.
