In the aftermath of the motocross accident which claimed the life of the young Sabri in Argenteuil, the Pontoise prosecution today ruled out the possibility of contact between his motorcycle and the Bac d'Ermont car, on patrol in rue du Trouillet.
“Expertise in accidentology has already been commissioned. The first conclusions confirm the absence of a shock between the police vehicle and the motorbike, "said the Pontoise prosecutor's office on Monday morning in a press release. He also specifies that "the first observations confirm at this stage the absence of pursuit of the motorcycle by the police".
Towards family legal action
Legal action should be launched by the family's lawyers, Maître Julie Simon and Me Vannier. In a letter, the councils already asked for the expertise of "all the vehicles" present at the scene of the accident, and the analysis of the soundtracks of the police frequencies, to make sure "that no intervention was in progress ”.

A scheduled autopsy
The prosecution, which entrusted the departmental security of Val-d'Oise with an investigation in search of the causes of death, recalls that the accident occurred Sunday at 2 am, and indicates that the driver of the motocross non helmeted struck a concrete electric pole located on the sidewalk of rue du Trouillet.
The victim, seriously injured, was hospitalized at Pitié Salpêtrière, in Paris (13th century) and died the same day at 8:20 am. “Forensic examinations show a death caused by cranio-facial trauma due to the impact against the concrete pole. An autopsy will be performed, ”adds the Pontoise prosecution.
A narrow, poorly lit street
The public prosecutor's office added that "according to the Bac d'Ermont police officers who were patrolling Argenteuil and driving on this street, they had noticed a motocross-type motorcycle heading towards them at high speed. The street where the events occurred, although in both directions, has a lane dedicated to parking vehicles and therefore offers only one lane for traffic. The driver of the motorcycle is said to have moved onto the sidewalk to continue on his way. "

The sidewalk used by the victim is narrow and strewn with obstacles, such as electric poles including the one struck by the victim.
