Michael Jordan: five rivals who surrendered to him 2:07

(CNN in Spanish) - Throughout his career, Michael Jordan overcame some of the greatest figures in the NBA. The Chicago Bulls legend could not hold his six championship titles today if he had not left these other stars on the road.

On May 18, 1998, considered by many to be the best player in basketball history, he received his fifth trophy for Best Player of the Season (MVP).

It was the same year that Jordan clinched the sixth and final title with the Chicago Bulls, one of the NBA's most winning dynasties, which dominated the 1990s.

Jordan also won in 1998 the sixth prize as 'MVP' of the final, in which they prevailed against the Utah Jazz.
