The branch of the General Seed Propagation Corporation in Daraa received a mobile seed center provided by the General Seed Propagation Corporation with a production capacity of five tons per hour.
The branch manager, Eng. Ghazi Al-Nassif, stated in a statement to SANA correspondent today that the mobile center is sifting five tons of wheat per hour, and it supports the main center, which sifting 15 tons per hour, pointing to the advantages of the center in terms of moving and fixing easily within warehouses.
He added that the branch is currently sifting about 2,800 tons of wheat, which was recycled from last season, confirming that the branch’s warehouses and laboratories are ready to receive the current agricultural season.
And Al-Nasif said that the field committees are currently following up the fields of farmers contracted with the establishment’s branch to estimate production, pointing out that the high temperatures in the past few days negatively affected different fields.
