Berchtesgaden - The BRK Berchtesgadener Land reports: Around 10:15 p.m. two unharmed but blocked Munich residents reported from the Kesselsteig on the Königssee east bank via an emergency call, who then decided, however, to return independently to the lake area via the dilapidated path along the east bank.

Around 0.45 a.m. they called again at Malerwinkel because they couldn't get any further. The BRK water guard went out with her lifeboat, quickly found the 37-year-old man and the 33-year-old woman, docked, walked a little towards them, brought them to the boat and drove them back to the lake area.

Both of them had FFP2 masks with them and wore them throughout the mission so as not to endanger the rescuers . They drove back home that night. 

Kesselsteig on Königssee difficult to walk on

The dilapidated path is quite difficult to walk on, among other things because of fallen trees and climbing passages. The woman had slightly injured her knee, but went to medical treatment on Monday. Three volunteers were required for around an hour and a half.
