Father Guo Yiya Memorial School has always been committed to cultivating students' innovative thinking and problem solving skills. In this school year, he also participated in the "Dreamstarter" (Dreamstarter), allowing students to walk out of the classroom, explore the problems facing the community, and design a "dream plan". In the process of "seeking dreams", students will use innovative thinking to solve problems, and crowdfunding resources and funds on the online platform to meet difficulties and realize their dreams.

The "Paper-Washing, Cutting, and Blowing" group of 13 third-grade students always pay attention to environmental issues. In their daily lives, they find that recycling paper-based beverage boxes requires a complicated process-people must first cut the paper-based beverage boxes, clean them, and wait for them to dry before putting them in the recycling bin. Because the recycling process is quite time-consuming, students hope to develop a "paper-bag washing, cutting and blowing machine". As long as people put paper-packaged drinks into the machine, the machine will automatically cut, clean and dry the drink box, making paper-packaged drink recycling more convenient and simple, and raising the public's desire to recycle the drink box.

The crowdfunding network of the "Paper-Washing, Scissors, and Blowing" team has exceeded 9,000 points and temporarily raised more than 7,000 Hong Kong dollars. Although the class is currently suspended due to the impact of the epidemic, students have not suspended the plan. They are now preparing to shoot videos online to find relevant professionals to help develop this new paper-based beverage recycling machine.
