The vehicle registration office at the Freising district office has to cease party traffic until further notice. The reason for this is that an employee has been infected with the corona virus, reports Robert Stangl, spokesman for the agency. "To avoid further infections, no direct customer contact can take place in the near future."
Anyone who has already made an appointment with the admissions office can also attend, but not personally. Instead, it is possible to hand in the relevant documents at the district office opposite the interim premises (former savings bank). “The processes are then processed,” explains Stangl. "As soon as the necessary documents have been completed, the customer receives a message."
There are currently no new appointments
However, the official spokesman also informs that new appointments are currently not being allocated. The registration office will not be reachable by phone in the next few days so that citizens' concerns that have already been addressed can be dealt with as quickly as possible. The number of corona cases in the Freising district is increasing again. As reported by the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL), eight newly infected people were reported from Monday to Tuesday. The Freising Clinic also reports that the number of patients is growing again. According to clinic spokesman Sascha Alexander, 23 people are in the isolation ward, 11 in the intensive care unit.
