LE FIGARO. - What do you think of this new group made up in part of walking deputies?
Gilles LE GENDRE. - Between this ninth group and the historic agreement that President Macron obtained yesterday with Angela Merkel on the European stimulus fund, I know what will really count to get our country out of the crisis and give our citizens a future. I regret the creation of this group, I have friendship for the colleagues who join it. But I don't understand them! We are living in a moment of exceptional gravity, which invites us to bring the French together.

In the eye, any political initiative, dividing our majority, falls short of the plate. The ninth group calls for a more social policy at a time when the state has put in place the highest level of protection in the world against the economic and social crisis. And it leaves our majority without waiting for the large-scale economic, social and environmental responses that we are working on
