136 bathing beaches across the country will open tomorrow (Wednesday) under the Ministry of Interior's purple character guidelines. Tens of millions of shekels will be allocated to the coastal authorities for coastal operations

The outline details the guidelines for opening the beaches and the responsibility of the local authorities for their implementation. Among other things, it was determined that the distance between the bathers would be 2 m and it would be marked, a proclamation would obey the instructions hourly, detailed signage would be placed on the beach, services would be sanctioned once an hour, no more use of closets and showers in enclosed buildings and more. To implement the guidelines, a dedicated budget will be allocated to the coastal authorities.

Existing fitness facilities can be used in the beach area and subject to applicable guidelines on the use of fitness facilities in public areas. Chairs, tables and tanning beds can be placed inside each holiday group while maintaining a distance of 2 meters between one holiday group and another.
