The resumption of the Syrian Premier League for Football issued several international sites, the last of which is the Asian Confederation of the game, where the latter published a report on the resumption of the tournament after the schedule of its matches was officially announced.

The AFC report, published on its official website, indicated that the resumption of the Syrian Premier League would constitute an ideal start for the return of the Arab leagues to competitions again after stopping sports activity in all countries of the world due to the Corona epidemic, as the Iraqi Federation for the game decided to resume the local league initially on the third of next July.

The report mentioned the measures taken by the Syrian Federation to establish the league in terms of health measures that are strict for cadres and players in the framework of addressing the new Corona virus, reviewing the seventeenth stage matches.

The report touched on the new form in which matches will be played in the league, where it will play without an audience and technical and administrative teams consisting of a maximum of eight people for each team with an increase in the number of available replacements to five within three breaks according to the instructions of the International Football Association in this regard.

The seventeenth stage will start on the 28th of May this year with one match in Damascus that combines Fatwa and Al Wathba while the rest of the matches will be held on the next day where Tishreen will meet the army in Latakia and Unity with Al-Jazeera in Damascus and Karama with the coast in Homs and Al-Ittihad with the police in Aleppo and Al-Nafeer with Hittin In Hama and Jableh with Al-Taleaa in Jableh

The Tishreen team tops the standings with 39 points, followed by Al Wathba with 33 points, then Hittin and the army with 30 points, Al-Wahda and Al-Wahda with 26 points, then Al-Karama and the police with 22 points and Vanguard with 18 points then Al-Nafeer with 16 points and Al-Fatwa with 15 points and the coast with 12 points and Jableh with 9 points and finally the island with 5 points.
