I want to make sure tomorrow includes at least the existing one today - so the Trump program must be supported

Homer, one of the greatest poets in Greece, wrote: "Dreams are not always matched by events." I dream of the entire Land of Israel, dream of visiting freely in Bethlehem, shopping in Ramallah, sitting for coffee in Hebron. Not all my dreams came true. At the same time, 53 years ago, right after the Six Day War, we fulfilled a major part of them. Sheila and Beit El, Efrat and Kfar Etzion, a Jewish settlement in Hebron, Maale Adumim, Itamar, Elkana and more.

The road to rebuilding in Samaria and Judea was not easy. Not everyone dreamed like us. Along the way they called us to evacuate, stopped us the budgets, asked us to join the settlement blocs, forced a freeze on us, saw us as a barrier to peace. Now, after years of struggles and a sword that lay on the neck, we have a rare opportunity to bring an "insurance certificate". 

We must not forget that, until recently, it was in doubt, and did not enjoy as much public support as it does today. It seems that the Trump plan recognizes the created reality, where settlement has become an anchor of peace - from trade and industrial areas to joint struggles for the environment.

Now, while there is a broad unity government, and the world's great power is sponsoring, we have the opportunity to ensure that we know for posterity at least what we have so far established. The realization of the "Century Plan" is a definite Israeli interest. We are part of the country. The State of Israel wants to end the conflict, the State of Israel needs political support, the State of Israel needs broad agreement. 

Apply sovereignty

The land of Israel is important, the people of Israel are just as important. The settlement is important and alongside it is the preservation of Israel's international position. We are at a decision-making junction, which will affect tomorrow. I want to make sure tomorrow includes at least the current one. To do this, the Trump program must be adopted and the sovereignty applied.
