Participants in the political symposium held today at the Dar Al-Baath Amphitheater in Mazze as part of the activities to commemorate the International Day of Jerusalem and the seventy-second anniversary of the Nakba of Palestine called for the dedication and adoption of a culture of resistance as a strategic option in facing the Zionist occupation until the liberation of all the occupied Arab lands and the return of refugees to their homes and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital .
The participants warned against the danger of Zionist plans to Judaize the city of Jerusalem, change its historical and religious features, its demographic structure, and displace the Arab Jerusalem residents from their homes and properties, in addition to stealing the Palestinian heritage and practicing the worst forms of oppression and injustice against the Palestinian people.
Dr. Maher Al-Taher, a member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, made it clear that today we are facing a new stage in which we achieve strategic victories, indicating that the axis of resistance is advancing strategically and the hostile axis fails to achieve its plans, and this is confirmed by the experience of steadfastness in Palestine, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq and the whole region.
Abu Hazim Al-Saghir, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Fatah Uprising Movement, spoke about the importance of the Palestinian issue in the thinking and approach of the late Imam Khomeini, leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, as he considered that the occupation of the Zionist entity to Palestine is the occupation of the heart of the Islamic world.
Dr. Saber Falhout, the director of the symposium, stressed that every day in Syrian life is dedicated to Jerusalem and every shred of Syrian soil and every drop of the blood of its youth is devoted to the national cause of Palestine, which cannot be filtered no matter how much the conspiracies amounted to and the tribulations intensified, saluting all the martyrs who gave their lives in order to liberate the land from occupation .
