A Pakistan Airlines passenger plane crashed Friday in the Karachi city of southern state. On board the plane were 99 passengers and crew.

The plane crash in Pakistan

According to photos circulated on social networks, the plane crashed in a densely built residential neighborhood, but did not damage buildings and did not cause casualties on the ground

At this time, 38 of the 99 passengers and crew members were killed and two survivors, with the fate of the 59 others still unknown. The circumstances of the accident are also unknown, but it was probably caused by a technical malfunction of an Airbus 320 aircraft.

Speaking to the control tower, shortly before the crash, the pilot informed the tower that he was "in direct line" and added: "The engines stopped." The pilot then announced an emergency and tried to land, but without success.

The plane took off today from Lahore city in the north of the state, making its way to Karachi International Airport and most of its passengers returned to their homes for a witness to Peter's holiday next week.
