The story of A., 50, a senior executive living in Valbonne (Alpes-Maritimes), is that of at least 400 other French people who invested in stone in Detroit, Michigan. Today, everyone wonders if they have not been victims of the scam of the century.

For A., it all starts when he is approached by Antom Patrimoine, a wealth management consultancy company managed, in Sophia-Antipolis, by Sébastien Rogge. "I was interested in his proposal to invest in Detroit, a city undergoing a renaissance after the 2009 crisis," says A. In 2018, during a trip to the United States, I went there to give me an idea. I met the Antom team, including Mr. Rogge, as well as Mr. de Bastos, a Frenchman established in the United States who was responsible for finding the goods to acquire. I had dinner with the latter, a charming man moreover, selected five houses which I then bought, two in cash at 53,000 dollars each and three with a seller credit, at 30,000-32,000 dollars
