Lebanese parties, organizations and personalities affirmed that the option of resistance is the only option to restore usurped Arab rights and to confront Israeli aggression and threats.
The Syrian National Social Party in Lebanon said in a statement on the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day on the twenty-fifth of May 2000 that the choice of resistance is the right choice and that betting on it is more effective than betting on an international decision that was destined to remain locked in the international drawers had it not been for the resistance to be strongly enforced Iron, fire, will, sacrifice and redemption liberated southern Lebanon from occupation.
The statement pointed out that the feast of resistance and liberation coincides this year with the occasion of the International Day of Jerusalem, stressing that the synchronization of the two occasions only enhances the culture of resistance and liberation and the option to resist occupation and confront normalization.
For its part, Beirut Scholars Association affirmed that the resistance is the only way for the Palestinian people to return to their land and homeland.
And the commission said in a statement today that Palestine does not return except by resisting action and any bet after these decades of occupation, killing and displacement other than the resistance is an illusion and a mirage.
For its part, the leadership committee of the independent Nasserite movement "Al-Murabitun" affirmed that the day of liberation on May 25, 2000 is the inevitability of history and geography of the struggle and sacrifices of the resistance and their insistence on resisting the Zionist enemy over the decades, since before its existence was declared on occupied Palestine.
The commission added in a statement that liberation is not words, slogans or statements, but rather the liberation of the land and the most important liberation of the national will and the protection of peace and stability, calling on all to "pause with conscience and restore the value of liberation not only military and security, but its value in terms of building the country and the citizen."
For his part, the Secretary General of the Islamic Unification Movement Sheikh Bilal Saeed Shaaban stressed that the complete liberation of Jerusalem and all the occupied Palestinian territories requires activating the role of the resistance.
Shaaban pointed out that "the disappearance of the occupation needs the elements and conditions, the most important of which are unity, preparation, precious and precious efforts, in addition to perseverance, persistence, sacrifice and interdependence, and securing the fundamentals of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and the occupied interior."
