A year ago, the Commerce Department banned Huawei from purchasing semiconductors designed to its specifications and made in the United States. Chinese society is accused of being an accomplice of the communist regime, eager to monitor telecommunications in all countries of the world. However, it had managed to circumvent the embargo by purchasing components manufactured for it outside the United States, but with American hardware and software. For the past week, this has not been possible.
We wonder how Xi Jinping will fight back.
