The center said today that it confirmed more than 20 people suspected of food poisoning, and added a total of 9 groups related to eating sandwiches. The finest was only 1 year old. After eating the relevant sandwiches, they had signs of gastroenteritis one after another, and all affected persons are currently in stable condition.

The Center for Health Protection pointed out that after a follow-up investigation, 9 new groups related to eating sandwiches were confirmed today, involving 5 men and 15 women, aged between 1 and 68.
The center said that they ate the sandwiches between May 18 and 21, and after 4 to 43 hours, they developed gastroenteritis symptoms, including abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. Among them, 16 people have sought medical treatment, and 5 of them need to be admitted to hospital for treatment.
There are four more branches.
It is understood that, in addition to the suspected food poisoning of the "Hong Family Handmade Hong Ruizhen Sandwich" in Tsuen Wan, there have been four more branch recruitments, including Kwai Chung Plaza, Mong Kok Center, D2 PLACE Crystal House, Kwun Tong Kai Lian Industrial Center, 20 to Room 21.

A CHP spokesman said that food stored at room temperature for too long will cause pathogens to multiply and produce toxins. The public should avoid eating cooked or ready-to-eat food that has been kept at room temperature for several hours.
