The Good Barrier Pass first opened in 1976 and operated for 24 years. Tens of thousands of soldiers stopped at him, eating and drinking and refreshing on their way to service in posts in southern Lebanon. The crossing was used as a humanitarian aid to the residents of southern Lebanon and hundreds of them moved there every day to work in Metula. The life-threatening complex was closed with the IDF withdrawal from Lebanon in May 2000 and since then, access has been banned.

Since the withdrawal of the IDF from Lebanon, the Colony of Tulla has changed its face. The soldiers who oversee the business in the locality have changed tourists.

For the convenience of travelers, the Scout Promenade has recently been set up to Nahal Ayun Reserve. An observation point has been set up in nearby Mount Seifa - at the Dado Observatory, which allows for a view of the Hula Valley and the Peruvian Valley in Lebanon.
